Quick Q: Can you hear your charger at idle from inside the car?

Just got finished with my install. The full writeup with pics is on the way. Everything is working great, with hondata etc. I just have 1 question...at idle, or even slight throttle, i can hear the charger churning...its not loud, its slight...just wondering if anyone else has this and if its normal. The blades looked perfect before install.

Just to elaborate a bit more...if you pop the hood, you can't really hear the noise...i think its the charger noise, vibrating off the firewall, and thats why you hear it in the cabin. Like i said, its not loud, just not stock. Thanks.

The car is definately louder with the blower, if that's what you mean.

yes. louder at idle right? just sitting at a light, no radio, (i have a quiet itr exhaust)...the engine noise is louder...sort of like a slight whirring/churning sound. Just making sure. I'll get pics up soon. The car is awesome with the blower. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Yeah, you can definitely hear the mechanical "rotating" of the blower at idle. As an aside, I liked the sound better at 6 psi than at 10+. Over 10 lbs, the blower kind of spins with an obscurity of shorter noises, rather than a pronounced few, that sound IMO really cool.

I can also hear this sound like a rough "sschhhhh"
I supposed that it comes from the brake power enhancer through the connection to the intake manifold.
However I have also experienced that this sound disappears when I very slightly touch the acceleration pedal. With very slightly I mean that the rpm does not rise. Just touch the pedal.
Maybe it is related to the throttle cable.
